Rebecca McCabe was making waves long before becoming a physiotherapist with the Pain Clinic at Greenwich Hospital and authoring the Pain Book.
Rebecca was featured on Channel 9's Today Show this week as she took part once again in the Cole Classic, an ocean swim event that she won thirty-two years ago, when she was just 15 years old.
You can see the segment featuring Rebecca on the Channel 9 website.
As a teenager, Rebecca was ranked in top ten swimmers in the world. However, an injury prevented her from attending the 1984 Olympics and she was forced to give up her swimming career earlier than expected.
Rebecca now works as physiotherapist with HammondCare Greenwich Hospital's Pain Clinic, helping people deal with and overcome chronic pain.
Rebecca was also joined in the Cole Classic by Robyn Murray, Clinical Psychologist with the Pain Clinic. Well done Robyn and Rebecca!
